218 Allenberry Playhouse Anniversary

Ten years ago this past Thursday, I finished my first contract at Allenberry Playhouse. I was a replacement for the woman playing Vera in Smoke on the Mountain as she was leaving two weeks early to do a show at Paper Mill Playhouse.

Allenberry has played a large part in my life over the past 10 years. I made wonderful friends, I met my husband, and I got paid to do what I’m trained to do. I worked under 4 artistic directors in my time there. It went from being union, to non-union, and back to (some) union. I was in some great productions, and I was in some bad productions.

Between the ups and downs, and the twists and turns, I cannot deny how Allenberry has shaped me into the artist I have become, and the person I am today. Thanks to everyone who was a part of my time there.
