183 Consumer Woes

We went to a wedding on Thursday night and it was a black tie affair. Not having the proper clothes, I ordered 12 dresses online, carefully chose one, and returned the rest. However, right before the wedding I noticed that there was a glaring mistake in the construction of my dress, and it was not sewn together correctly. The biggest upset was that I had fallen in love with the dress and specifically chose it because it was made in the USA.

Not having a choice 30 minutes before the wedding, I wore it, but planned to exchange it for the same dress that was hopefully put together correctly. I refuse to keep a busted dress that cost as much as that one did.

I returned the dress to Macy’s yesterday without an issue, but as soon as I left the store I went on my phone to reorder the dress, and it was out of stock.

Nothing like falling in love with something and then rejecting it for its flaws, only to find that there is nothing left to replace it.
