4 Lazy Holiday Confessions – Traffic Cameras

Andy and I haven’t had cable in years, so we have gotten used to sub par entertainment.

We used to have access to this weird NYC traffic channel where every 30 seconds it would change to a new location and you could see what was happening around the city.

We knew that Times Square traffic cameras were in the rotation, so one weekend when my brother came to visit, we headed down to Times Square to find the cameras.

After looking for 10 minutes, I recognized the location I saw on TV, and we called Andy. We told him to turn on the TV to see if he could see us.

As the location on the traffic channel changed to Times Square Andy told us to start waving, and he saw us on TV. My brother and I geeked out.

It doesn’t take too much to entertain us.

Happy New Year!
