Andy and I haven’t had cable in years, so we have gotten used to sub par entertainment.
Before I moved to NYC, I spent 1.5 years living in Tennessee working at a regional theater. I met so many wonderful people there, but this story is about a fantastic actor, writer, musician, and just all around talented guy named Bobby Taylor.
In 2008, I purchased this cute plastic/rubbery jack-o-lantern that had a little light bulb in it.
Andy lived in the US Virgin Islands for a while, and because of it, one of his least favorite types of music is steelpan music. The high tinny nature of the music drives him crazy.
This weekend Andy and I were walking through the Village, and we happened upon the restaurant pictured above. I am not sure how I had forgotten it, but it was a place I would frequent in 2005 on Monday nights with some regional theater friends.
