I will finish the week by saying that my biggest pet peeve is how NYC is so easy to fall in love with. Seriously.
Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are amazing rights, but spewing hate and prejudice on the subway by veiling it with religious text just sucks.
If you are not a New Yorker, you may not know that riding a bike on the sidewalks of NYC is illegal. If you are a New Yorker, you may not know it’s illegal either, or you do, and you might do it anyways.
In the building where I work, there are three sets of elevator banks with five elevators in each bank. Because of this, getting an elevator in a timely manner is generally not an issue. However, once one boards the elevator, the doors can take some time to close.
I love reading and I highly recommend it. However, I am not for reading a book and walking at the same time in crowded places.
Rush hour is a special time in NYC. The MTA is falling into a horrible abyss that they can’t seem to climb out of, and rush hour travelers are getting the brunt of the situation.
There are certain things about life as humans that can a bit irritating at times. This week I want to relieve some stress by dedicating an entire week to sharing my NYC pet peeves, by getting them right out in the open.
